The Jamaican proverb “A patient man rides the donkey” extols the virtue of patience. After-all, if you know the obstinacy of a donkey; anyone who can ride one and get to their destination; truly embodies patience. This proverb reminds us of the patience we need in the pursuit of our dreams. The journey may be filled with obstacles; unforeseen delays and unexpected twists and turns. Yet still, we need to remain patient; for there is value in the journey and not just the reward.
Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. – Unknown

When you see other people being successful use it as motivation to continue; for one day your glow up will happen! After nuhbaddi no more dan u!

Use this month to commit to being disciplined; focused and intentional. Take an honest and hard look at your thinking and your habits to determine what is preventing you from achieving your goals and dreams. Examine your mindset and your self talk. What do you think about? Are you really thinking or are you only engaged in mental activity? How is your self talk? Are you kind and affirming or do you tear yourself down? Are you really taking steps towards your goals or moving away from them? Periods of quiet reflection will yield the answers you seek.
